This particular topic will be in parts. Today, we will discuss part 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Remember that every dog owner needs to have at least one good reference guide to their dog\u2019s health to ensure that they live a long and healthy life. Skin Allergy<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Common Causes:<\/strong>&nbsp;Flea bites, food allergies, inhalant allergies, such as dust or pollen, processed dog food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What signs watch for:<\/strong>&nbsp;Scratching our chewing at the affected areas, red or irritated skin, hair loss, swelling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What to do:<\/strong>&nbsp;Consult with your vet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Prevent_Skin_Allergies\"><\/span>How to Prevent Skin Allergies:<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Inspect your beagle\u2019s skin regularly.<\/li><li>Regular flea medication to avoid also potential diseases from ticks and other parasites.<\/li><li>Choose the right food for your Beagle and avoid feeding them with too many grain fillers, processed meat or human food. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"3_Skin_Infections_and_Pyoderma_Hot_Spots\"><\/span>3. Skin Infections and Pyoderma (Hot Spots)<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Pyoderma is one of the most common forms of skin infections caused by the overgrowth of bacteria on your Beagle\u2019s skin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Common Causes:<\/strong>&nbsp;Humidity, warmth, history of infections and allergies, fleas, problems with their anal sacs, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What signs to watch for:<\/strong>&nbsp;It shows up suddenly. Your Beagle will lick, bite and scratch the area.
